SARAH MCLACHLAN FOUNDATION

Summer Sessions in Ambleside was a one-day benefit held in West Vancouver to raise money for the Sarah McLachlan Foundation. Headline artists Sarah Mclachlan, Neil Young and Sheryl Crow performed to a sold-out crowd in the late-September heat alongside an eclectic group of talented Canadian artists programmed across two stages. With a mere 12 weeks to market and sell the event (amid a global economic downturn, no less), brand.LIVE targeted local and international sponsors to support the festival and raise their philanthropic profile. Boston Pizza, Pepsi, RBC, The Keg, Whistler Brewing Co. and Mark Anthony Group were some of the prominent brands who came on board, making this first ever concert event a massive hit, with the promise of more to follow.
