Red Bull's Aerobatic Performance Stunned the Crowds Again at the Celebration of Light!

Red Bull’s aerobatic pilot, Pete McLeod was able to steal the audience’s attention for the second time during his encore performance in English Bay last night. After surprising the crowds on Saturday, he performed yet another 15-minute jaw dropping performance in his 540 aerobatic aircraft. From shooting straight up in the sky, to swooping just few hundred meters from the shore, to spelling out ‘REDBULL’ with his plane, the audience was focusing on nothing else but Pete McLeod for the duration of his show. Over 300,000 people came down to watch his stunts and tricks before Spain’s firework performance, “Odyssey”, at the Celebration of Light.

Pete McLeod, the 27 year old Canadian from Red Lake, Ontario was very excited to bring this incredible show to Vancouver for the first time ever. He is now off to Saskatchewan to for yet another air show this weekend.
Brand.LIVE, the Fireworks Festival Society, and Red Bull were very excited to be able to keep this surprise a secret from the public until July 30th, when China performed. Every year, brand.LIVE strives to add more to the Celebration of Light to make it even more engaging and entertaining for the crowds. The Red Bull aerobatic show was just the right touch to get the swarms of people excited and warmed up for the firework display.
A huge thanks to Red Bull and Pete McLeod for making this aerobatic show such a success!
