Brand.LIVE is very excited to be coordinating Vancouver’s biggest event of the year; the Celebration of Light Fireworks Festival.

This year’s “Battle Of The Champions” edition kicks off Saturday July 30th with China followed by Spain on Wednesday August 3rd and finally Canada on Saturday August 6th. These countries are the champions from the previous three years and are battling it out for the ultimate championship. To hear live music during each country’s performance tune in to the simulcast music on Shore 104.3 FM.

Each year the festival grows and expands with more intriguing activities for the public to take part in. This year, there will be vendors set up each night in English Bay and Sunset beach, where music will be played and tons of free give-aways will be available. On the night that Spain performs, August 6th, there will be Salsa dancing in the streets of English Bay, put on by salsavancouver.net. Whether you have great rhythm or dance with two left feet, grab your partner, join the crowds and dance the warm summer night away!

SHOREfest will be attracting tons of people down to the three stages set up across English Bay, Vanier Park, and Kits Beach. Free live music will be captivating the crowds between 5:00-9:00pm before the fireworks begin. With all the festivities happening at the Celebration of Light this year, we encourage everyone to come down early, enjoy the beautiful weather, and take advantage of all the activities happening around English Bay, Sunset Beach and Kits.
